Who operates this site
FakeWorking.com is operated by an individual developer. The website provides public-content readers and simulated work screens. It does not require a FakeWorking account to use these tools.
Website hosting and analytics
The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Serving and securing the site involves processing connection information such as IP addresses, request URLs, browser information, and request times.
Cloudflare Workers operational logging is enabled to diagnose errors, keep the site working, and investigate abuse. Request URLs, including their query strings, can appear in these logs. Cloudflare’s current Workers Logs service retains these logs for up to seven days, depending on the account plan. This limit applies to Workers Logs, not to every category of information Cloudflare processes for its own security or service operations.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand visits and website performance, including page views, referring sites, browser and device categories, approximate country, and page-load measurements. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as a service that does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. This does not describe the behavior of every other service linked or embedded here.

Preferences stored on your device
The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember work-view preferences and Reddit community choices. These preferences remain until you clear the site’s browser data or they are overwritten. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data settings.
Public links and reading tools
When you open a Reddit community or post, the requested public address is sent to this site’s server, which fetches public Reddit feeds. The site’s feed cache can keep a response for up to one hour to reduce repeated requests and handle temporary upstream limits. Article responses may also be cached briefly. These content caches are separate from operational logs.
When you open a news article or Wikipedia page, the address is sent to this site’s server. The reader uses third-party conversion services, including Jina Reader and, as a fallback, Firecrawl, to retrieve readable public content. Those services receive the requested address and may process it under their own policies. Images and links in the returned content may connect your browser to the original publisher or other third parties.
Do not submit private links, access tokens, confidential documents, or URLs containing sensitive personal information. The reader is intended for public pages.
See the policies of Reddit, Jina AI / Elastic, and Firecrawl.
YouTube and external services
The floating video meeting embeds YouTube using the youtube-nocookie.com domain. Opening or playing a video connects your browser to Google and YouTube. Their services may process connection data and use storage or identifiers according to their own settings and policies. This feature does not make video viewing anonymous.
Other links may open external websites, and their privacy policies apply when you visit them. See Google’s privacy policy.
Contact messages
The contact address forwards messages through Cloudflare Email Routing to the operator’s Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google process the message, sender address, attachments, and delivery information to route and store messages sent through this channel. The operator uses messages to respond to questions, investigate problems, and handle privacy or content concerns.
Messages are kept while the operator handles the request and any related security or legal matter. Completed correspondence is reviewed and deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or private workplace documents.
The contact address is contact@fakeworking.com
Advertising
FakeWorking.com is preparing to apply for Google AdSense. The site includes an AdSense ownership-verification tag and an ads.txt seller record. These do not load Google advertising scripts. No Google ads are currently served.
If Google advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses, browser or device information, and other identifiers to deliver, personalize where permitted, and measure ads or detect fraud. The information used depends on the advertising settings, your choices, and applicable requirements.
Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and manage personalized advertising through Google’s My Ad Center. Where consent is required, advertising will only be enabled after the appropriate consent controls are in place. This policy will be updated when the site’s advertising or data handling changes.
Your choices and questions
You can clear local preferences in your browser, avoid loading external content, and review the privacy settings of the services you use. Where applicable, you may ask the operator about personal information you have provided or request its deletion. Some records may need to be retained to address security, legal, or unresolved support matters.
Use the contact page for privacy questions. Information may be processed outside your country by the providers described above, under their respective privacy policies.
